French Toast / 法式煎吐司





  • 10 slice 1-inch Bread
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2-3 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 10片 寸厚面包
  • 1/2杯 牛奶
  • 1/2杯 奶油
  • 1/4小勺 食盐
  • 2个 鸡蛋,打散
  • 2-3大勺 蜂蜜
  • 1小勺 香草精
  • 3大勺 牛油

  1. In medium size mixing bowl, whisk together milk, cream, eggs, honey, and salt. Dip bread into mixture, allow to soak for 30 seconds on each side.
    牛奶,奶油,鸡蛋,蜂蜜和盐放入一个中号盆具搅打均匀。放入面包,每面浸泡30秒。
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Place 4 slices of bread at a time into the pan and cook until golden brown, approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a serving dish. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread Serve immediately with maple syrup, whipped cream or fruit.
    中低火融化1大勺牛油,放入4片面包,每面煎2-3分钟,直至金黄放到餐碟。同样方法煎制其余面包。配上枫糖浆,鲜奶油或水果。
